But now, PBS is giving fans the chance to see The Highwaymen together once more in a new documentary, The Highwaymen: Friends Till the End. The group released three albums throughout their ten-year run, and their debut album snagged the top spot on the charts, thanks in part to their number one hit single appropriately titled “Highwayman.”Įven though The Highwaymen worked together for ten years, fans never really had much of an opportunity to see them all together on screen. The creation of The Highwaymen further proved their staying power in the industry, since they were able to soar through the charts that were dominated by a new generation of artists.
